Celebrating the Birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him)
The halls of Columbia University shook with the names of Allah (jj) and blessing on the Holy Prophet(p)
as the Osmanli Nakshibendi Dergah joyously celebrated Mawlidun Nabi 1424. Many came away with a sense
of love, wonder and awe at the Holy Prophet(p) as non-Muslims marvel at the beauty and power of a holy
association. The event was organised by Bro Omar and Bro Ali Siddiqi under the auspices of the Muslim
Students Associaton of Columbia University and was attended by over a hundred students, faculty members
and lovers of the Holy Prophet(p). New York - April 2007
